As a starting point, we chose three values that we consider essential; safety, respect and responsibility.
Based on these basic values, we have formulated desired behaviour for all areas in and around the school (including a bullying protocol). Made visable on small posters everywhere in the building, practiced regularly in short lessons and identically applied by all teachers. Therefore everyone in school knows what to expect from each other.
SWPBS is used in schools around the world. It ensures a positive and safe school climate in which positive behavior is confirmed and undesirable behavior is reversed.
